 Accepted answerOnce you log into Maxthon 2.0 with a Maxthon Account, you can use the online favorites function. Your favorites will be uploaded to the server without any operation. Fully automatic uploading process. Once you log in with the same account after you arrive home, you will get the same favorites which you just saved in your office. Enjoy. Id like to add that some work environments may restrict outside access, this is outside of Maxthons control. You will need to convince your network admin to have Maxthon be allowed to contact the Favorites Service. Even though the connection is over HTTPS, it requries a direct connection

You can export Favorites to a local drive or removable disk. Not as elegant and simple as having Maxthon save them without your input, but it youre locked aay from the real world, and export will at least protect you against losing them on your PC, and on a disk, they can accompany you on your travels.

Id like to make a feature request, that synchronizing favorites work with ANY folder path, not just the online service.
The way Maxthon 1 used the IE favorites was much preferred to what I find in Maxthon 2.

Yeah, where are our favorites after uploaded? I also want to know about that. I have the account on this maxthon webpage, should my favorites put somewhere associated with my account ? So that even I have some problem when the maxthon login, I can also go to the webpage to use my favorites there. I think if there was a functionality of that, it would be much more convenient

I like the classic version of handling favorites using internet explorer favorites. The new version does not allow me to use my application launcher to launch web sites. It will open my other browser and open the website rather than use Maxthon

And I also wanna know where the local favorites of maxthon are stored (on my computer). The search path for it!
Did a search for "favorites" in explorer, but I couldnt find it!
I find the organise favorits feature too limited (cant copy a link to severeal maps, it can just be moved). I wanna organise

it works for me.
Once you uploaded your fav, log in to maxthon in another computer using the same account. There should be a popup window that ask how to deal with the online stored fav.
All you need to do is to choose one option you need and wait couple minutes.
Their fav server seems pretty busy. A few connection failure may happen and it could take about 2 or 3 min to

do i lose access to my favorites since i upgraded? i was unaware of the appreciation service. what do i do to retrieve my favorites now? i guess i am going to have to find another browser.

Sadly ill be uninstalling this great program. I am not going to deal with 2 seperate favorites folders. I liked it when maxthon just used the same one that IE uses.

yeah, how to get our favorites back on out own machines!? When try to import from favorites server, passort login not recognized. And is going to this helpsite called logging in? Wheres the functionality to do anything like import, export, etc?

Like all browsers there are somethings loved and some despised.
IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Maxthon etc all fall down somewhere.
Unfortunately that leaves us poor users with little choice but to use several browsers to achieve what we want to.

if your online favorite cant synchronize, its may be caused by NOD32 4.0. It blocks 443 port for maxthon online favorite.
Please change https filter configure to "Dont use https filter".

If I try to unload my favorite links to the server, the message that "exceeded the allowable amount."
If I go to "http://fav.maxthon.com/", then I see that my favorite references is zero!
Why?
