I read that “Maxthon is based on the installed IE version engine.” Is there a way for Maxthon to provide IE7 compatibility on Window 7, which, of course, has IE8?

Yes, Maxthon works on IE8 with IE7 compatibility mode. If anybody want IE8 mode, there is checkbox in options.

Dev: I am running Win 7, which means I am have to run IE8. IE7 will not install on Win 7. I have to access a web site that has some functions that only work in IE7. The vendor does promise an IE8 version in a month or two. Can Maxthon2 give me IE7 compatibility when the installed IE engine is IE8? |
