Why does Maxthon Browser not use the Favorites folder in Windows XP user directory?

This makes it very difficult to work with more than one browser.  You should obviously be aware that some sites work better with different browsers.  My bank's website will not let Maxthon download my pdf statements.  I need to go to IE for that!  Despite the fact that I like Maxthon for it's Magic Fill, I am finding the import/export of favorites to be a nuisance and outweighing the benefit of Magic Fill.

I looked for an option to change this favorites storage, but could not find one.
