You can use “Force open link In back ground” button to prevent activating a tab while using “right click-open in new tab”.

Assign the actions "previous/next tab" to "CTRL + left/right" to enable "Use CTRL+ARROW key to switch tabs".

It's not available to set a vertical tab group in this version.

to prevent activating a new tab use "Super DragnDrop" (open the link by dragging and dropping it) :)

This does not seem working, could you add just a shortcut keys like in Opera CTRL+Shift+ Mouse Click and in IE just ctrl+ mouse click

How do I Open New Tab without Activation - Yeh! that is the problem to be solved urgently!!!

I  cant  use “Force open link In back ground” button to prevent activating a tab while using “right click-open in new tab”.  there is no such item in right click menu!

And dragging isnt the right way even if it works. It suppo

Oh - lost some text while trying to drag for test of background link open )))

I meant - It supposed to be an option in Opera way indeed - all links in background or once in RC menu

That option/button appears in my status bar on the bottom frame. It works exactly like you describe and that I like.

THANKS

When I click a link, I want to stay in the parent window while the new tab opens. I hate automatically opening in the new tab. But I cant find how to do it. love the program otherwise.

OK, I wanted the new tab to open automatically, like Noxem Comp above- the opposite to what John/Jacob1 wanted.  Nothing I set in the Options/Tab Settings menu seemed to work like I wanted- but to get the auto activate to work, click on the "Force Open Links in New Tab" button on the bottom status bar (NOT in the Options menu) and UN-click the "Force Open Links in Background&qu

But I hope you got the idea, its all in the two buttons on the lower status bar in the browser window (just to R. of the lightning bolt.)

I was told to go to "Groups" (Maxthon top menu) so that I may save a group of tabs,....say 5, and call it Group 5,...then to closeMaxthon , and open it again. That way I could then go to "Groups" , and open the 5 tabs.       I cant find "Groups" in the menu.  Can you help me please?
